Abstract

The problem of the content of modern textbooks on the Russian language for primary school children with different language proficiency in Russian (first, heritage, additional, non-native, second, foreign) is problematized. The Russian language textbooks play an important role in forming the linguistic world-image in children during the inculturation period and are often the main source of material for mastering Russian culture for foreigners and bilinguals. A Text-Image Russian Textbooks Corpus (TIRTEC) for primary school children has been created and annotated. A corpus analysis of educational texts in the linguaculturological aspect helps distinguish nuclear and peripheral lexical units based on the statistical data. The analysis of frequency collocations helps construct a linguistic world-image and a portrait of students featured on the pages of modern textbooks.
