Abstract

The verbal and visual form of children's literature associates it with a polycode text. The study of associative responses to verbal and visual stimuli from the children's literature by Altai writers is conducted. Visual perception of semantic elements of children's literature works establishes dynamic and associative interaction of verbal and visual representations of meaning in the structure of a dispersed concept. The image is central to the construction of a concept model and its associative adequacy to the protagonist of children's literature.
