Inadequate textual communication can be caused by inconsistency and / or discrepancy between the world models that the author of the text and its readers possess and share. Readers can have not enough knowledge about the real world and / or imaginary world represented in the text. In this case they fill in the text gaps trying to understand and interpret the text. As the result misunderstanding occurs and personal text lacunae arise. Translators’ lack of the ability to visualize the Text World reality results in the distortion and / or false interpretation of the events in the Text World. Translations are seen as secondary text projections.
