The purpose of the review is to demonstrate the scope of various psycho-linguistic and discursive-psycholinguistic studies of cross-sectional and trend types conducted within the Omsk school of psycholinguistics, and to assess their methodological and instrumental potential. The author conclude that any methodological techniques is limited by the nature of the method or technique itself. A psycholinguistic experiment is essential as a source of information about the associative-verbal network, language consciousness, etc. It depends on the goal, hypothesis, and the underlying fundamental theory. The comprehensive integrative approach broadens possibilities of representing the object as a three-dimensional image, provided that the main methodological line is consistently followed and integrative results are obtained.
