Abstract

The paper considers interlanguage interaction as a process of language contact in the consciousness of an individual as the subject of research. The goal of the research relates to the study of the principles of organization of the bilingual language noosphere. The interpretation of new linguistic and extralinguistic experience is associated with the formation of a metalinguistic picture of the world, the description of which is important in modeling the bilingual linguistic noosphere – a complex dynamic system that meets the principles of synergy and naturalness. The paper describes the mental basis of inter-language interaction as a complex unity of cognitive processes and social attitudes; the conclusion is made about the need to take into account the experience and cognitive potential of an individual in the study of inter-language interaction. As a result of modeling inter-language interaction, the concepts of «metalinguistic picture of the world» and «metaconceptual picture of the world» of a bilingual are proposed. The paper uncovers direct correlation between the volume of interlingual mutual influence and the cognitive processes in a person, his / her ways and tools for perception of this new reality and the formation of a metalinguistic picture of the world.
