The paper is devoted to the analysis of the impact that various components of a polycode text in form of the Internet-meme have on minds of Internet users. The relevance of the topic is explained by the rapid development of Internet communication, in which the polycode text is becoming the dominant type of text. The Internet as the most advanced information source has significant affect on the society and its day-to-day life, it determines the dynamic of many social processes. Polycode texts help attain a simultaneous psychological influence on the recipient using specifically organized heterogeneous signs.
