The article introduces the notion of media-communicative micro-images, which we understand as stereotyped characteristics of personal values, which are ascribed to a prominent person by mass media. Through the use of the term of «media-communicative micro-images» we investigate the language portrait of USA President Donald Trump which is created on daily basis by English-language media. «Language portrait» implies a complex of text features relating to its style and grammatical structure which is meant to instill a certain image of the protagonist of a mediatext in a reader and the impression desired by the author. The findings of the research suggest that the language portrait of Donald Trump includes such media-communicative micro-images as «unsuccessful president», «aggressive politician», «infantile president» etc. These micro-images are different from the micro-roles of Trump’s self-presentation in his own public addresses.
