The paper proposes and substantiates the concept of artistic realikon, interpreted as a set of realia functioning in a literary text. These realia form a unified systemically organized ideological, aesthetic and culturally significant complex which plays a part in the creation of the national color of the text. The author elaborates a set of criteria allowing to prove the structure-forming and meaning-forming functions of the artistic realikon, as well as its role in representing the national ethnic image of the world and the author’s artistic model of the world.
