The paper explores diachronically the categorial situations forming dialogical modules through the case study of the XX century English drama. The author discusses grammatical realization of the core polycategorial complexes formed by semantic categories of temporality, aspectuality and taxis. Central to the research is also the possible correlation of the realized categorial situations in a XX century drama dia-logue and the language worldview of the time.
