The paper presents the theory of image making after studying the reflectivity of experts and the author himself upon image. The theory is based upon multiple examples of creating images. Image is looked upon as a multimodal text personality. As in Psycholinguistics, two approaches of studying it are possible: the angle of creating the image and the angle of its reception. In accordance with the author’s conception image creation is achieved in line with the following axes (parameters): visual, kinesthetical, verbal, mythological, behavioral, ethical, social, media and virtual.
